Only Faculty of a US or Canadian Dental Hygiene School may submit for a STAR award.
The STAR award is intended to honor a unique and exceptional student. Please submit only one award application per graduating class.
The Colgate STAR Award recognizes graduating dental hygiene students who show excellence and commitment to the dental hygiene profession by:

  • Demonstrating true dedication to the profession
  • Exhibiting extraordinary compassion in patient care
  • Displaying enthusiasm and follow-through for community service
  • Demonstrating outstanding patient education and motivation skills
Complete and submit the application below. A Certificate of Recognition will arrive within 7-10 days of your submission.
The Colgate STAR Award materials for your school will arrive within 14 days from submission.
Canadian STAR Award materials will arrive within 4 weeks.
